Some of our contributions to innovation
A project in the Solution Centre designed the new Council Tax Benefit claim process. It reduced the 26 page claim form to 3 pages, introduced claims by phone and helped launch the national roadshows and the successful take-up pilot. As a result, customers get up to £90 million more benefit each year.
Our contributions to innovation across government have been widely acknowledged. For example, we have been commissioned to work on the cross-government service for reporting changes of circumstances recommended in Sir David Varney’s “Service Transformation” report.
We also designed and developed the role of the first cross-government Customer Champion (for Older People) on behalf of Alexis Cleveland, The Pension Service Chief Executive.
